  This is a portrait done for my daughter-in-law of her grandparents who have passed away. I love this painting. Eventually I will post the process of this painting as it was quite a learning experience. But for now, I just want to get it posted.

"Thoughtful Spot" was done from a plein air sketch that I did one fall afternoon. This is one of a number of places around the area where I live where I go to sit and paint and think and pray.
